FUTURE LEADERS MENTORSHIP
Connecting high school students and post-secondary students together
The Future Leaders Mentorship Program supports BC youth in Grades 10 to 12. This 12-week program provided youth with positive role models through one-on-one mentorship, developing skills and sharing knowledge through tailored workshops, and offering the opportunity to contribute to their community while gaining work experience in a volunteer placement.
From June 13 to September 2, 2022, high school mentees communicated virtually on a weekly basis with their mentor, completed a volunteer placement, and engaged in three in-person workshops. Mentees were encouraged to share applications for scholarships and or post-secondary admissions for Mentors to review and provide feedback.
All youth in Metro Vancouver (Surrey, Delta, Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley, Richmond, etc.) were invited to apply.
