Get involved and make a difference in the community
We are looking for volunteer applicants that have a passion for helping those in the community and making a difference. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds. They will have the chance to lead their own projects and support for applications and scholarships.
All volunteers should have a positive energy and attitude, be available to attend our team monthly meetings online or in- person, and be able to respond to team messages and emails in a timely matter. They will attend a mandatory training session with Empower The Future before they are able to contribute to our platforms.
Events are based in Surrey, BC, however, due to COVID-19, all team meetings and events including webinars are currently delivered online through Zoom unless specified by the school district for another platform.
