Q: Do universities only look at Grade 12 marks?
A: Yes and No. Some universities look at your overall mark from grade 11 to grade 12. However SFU looks at 4 grade 12 courses that are program specific and your English 12 mark. Some universities only look at your grades while other universities look at your grades and your personal profile like UBC. A personal profile describes your volunteer contributions, your future goals, and your interest in that university. The grades the post-secondary institution looks at also varies depending on the program you are applying to. If you are applying for early admission, you will likely have to self-report your grades (estimate what you'll get in that class).
